Socks
Description: I created this design to capture the raw, unfiltered reality of living a life of faith. So often, we imagine a spiritual journey as a tranquil, smooth path—a peaceful walk through a bed of roses. But anyone who has truly tried to surrender control knows the truth: trusting God can feel like a wild, white-knuckled ride.
Description: I created this piece to contrast absurd dark humor with the extreme, lethal reality of tornadoes. The image of a man sitting casually on his porch with a thumbs-up while a violent vortex of wind, fire, and lightning destroys everything behind him highlights a dangerous mindset: denial.
Description: I created this piece to play on that absurd, dark-humor contrast between total chill and extreme danger. The guy in the pool is relaxed and smiling, giving a double thumbs-up while a lightning storm brews directly overhead—it’s hilarious visually, but in reality, being anywhere near a body of water during a lightning storm is one of the most hazardous places you could possibly be.
Description: I wanted to capture that classic dark comedy vibe where everything is completely falling apart around you, but you’re just stubbornly committing to the "I'm fine" bit. The main concept was built around the iconic Ghostface slasher trope—a guy getting stabbed in his own home—placed in direct contrast with an absurdly optimistic reaction. Instead of horror, he’s giving a bright, cheerful smile and a confident thumbs-up while taking a knife to the back.
Description: I designed this piece as a playful homage to the dread of Terminator's Judgement Day, but reframed through the everyday tragedy of losing our most essential domestic asset: caffeine.

Description: When I was sketching out this design, I wanted to capture that absurd, dark-comedy feeling of being totally overwhelmed by life—yet somehow coming to peace with the chaos. The zoo backdrop felt like the ultimate playground for that theme: a high-stakes, wild environment where everything that could go wrong suddenly does.
Description: Instead of leaning purely into horror, I decided to pair that chaos with a dark comedy twist. By placing a completely unbothered guy in the foreground giving a casual thumbs-up while Jason looms in the doorway, the design pokes fun at handling life's worst-case scenarios with effortless calm.
Description: I created this piece to capture that absurd, dark-comedy feeling of keeping your composure when everything around you is going completely sideways. The idea came directly from imagining the ultimate worst-case scenario: being stuck in open water with a pack of aggressive sharks circling in for a feeding frenzy.
Description: You play as the Courier, an ordinary person whose job is to deliver a mysterious package across the dangerous, nuclear-wasteland Mojave Desert. Right at the start, you are ambushed, shot in the head, and left for dead in a shallow grave by a slick guy in a checkered suit named Benny, who steals your package. Miraculously, a friendly local robot named Victor digs you out, and a doctor in the town of Goodsprings patches you up. Once you can stand, your only real goal is simple: Track down Benny, get your package back, and exact sweet revenge.
Description: The Time and Place: Set in 1603 (the start of the Edo period) in the wilderness surrounding Mount Yōtei on the northern island of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido, Japan). This is over 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. You play as Atsu, a fierce mercenary and wandering warrior.
Description: The story is set in 1274 on the peaceful island of Tsushima, Japan. A massive Mongol armada, led by the ruthless and brilliant Khotun Khan, invades the island. The island's samurai class, led by Lord Shimura, rides out to meet them on the beach in an honorable, open battle. It is a slaughter. The samurai code of honor—fighting face-to-face, announcing your name, and showing mercy—is completely useless against the brutal, calculating tactics of the Mongols. Lord Shimura is captured, and Jin Sakai, the main character and Lord Shimura's nephew, is left for dead.
Description: Set 25 years after the events of the original trilogy, Gears of War 4 shifts focus to a new generation trying to rebuild a broken world. it's a passing-of-the-torch story where the children of the old heroes have to face a horrific new evolution of an old enemy while dealing with the heavy legacy of their parents.
Description: With their cities gone, humans live as refugees on ships and ruined islands. However, Imulsion on the surface explodes in growth, mutating both humans and remaining Locust into feral Lambent monstrosities. Marcus's father, a brilliant scientist who was secretly alive, builds a global energy wave device. When activated, it eradicates all Imulsion, destroying every mutated creature and ending the war for good—though at immense personal sacrifice.
Description: Gears of War 2 takes place on the planet Sera, after humanity has spent years fighting the underground Locust Horde. You play as Marcus Fenix, a soldier of the COG (Coalition of Ordered Governments) and a member of Delta Squad. After the events of the first game, the Locust are still a massive threat. But this time, they're doing something even more terrifying:
Description: The main protagonist, Marcus Fenix, is a disgraced soldier sprung out of prison because humanity is running out of troops. Marcus leads Delta Squad—a crew of heavily armored, battle-hardened soldiers ("Gears") equipped with chainsaw-rifles—on a suicide mission to drop a massive bomb underground into the Locust caverns.
Description: In the original Lords of Shadow, Gabriel Belmont was a Holy Knight who lost his wife, was manipulated into committing dark deeds, and ultimately sacrificed his humanity to save the world. Reborn as Dracula, the ultimate monster, he spent centuries battling the church and his own descendants.
Description: Lies of P: Overture is best understood as a story about grief, regret, family, guilt, and the desire to undo the past. It is a prequel/expansion to Lies of P, but the interesting part is that it doesn't simply tell you what happened before the original game. It explores why some of the people in Krat became the people they are, especially Geppetto, Sophia, and the people connected to the Alchemists.
Description: Lies of P is a dark action role-playing game (ARPG) inspired by the story of Pinocchio, but reimagined in a gothic, Belle Époque-style world. It was developed by Round8 Studio and published by Neowiz. In the game, you play as P, a puppet searching for his creator, Geppetto, in the ruined city of Krat. The city has been devastated by a puppet frenzy and a mysterious disease. Along the way, you fight challenging enemies, uncover secrets, and make choices about whether to tell the truth or lie. Those lies affect certain story events, NPC interactions, and one of the game's endings.
