This was a famous marketplace in Dublin city centre during the 1960's and 1970's which was demolished to make way for a shopping centre. Once a popular meeting place for many Dubliners and a busy market for clothes and bric'a'brac, this was also the place where Irish rock band U2 played their first live concerts in 1979.
