Life Is Fun, by Jackie Carpenter. Life Is Fun, was an idea taken from the my painting called "A Colorful World" which was an 8" x 10" painting. A Colorful World, became the idea for a Mural at The Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. After the 48" x 56" painting for the mural was finished, I just kept adding things to the original piece. This painting, Life Is Fun is the finished design. I wanted it to reflect just how fun life can be. I've dedicated it to my granddaughter Bex who was born with Spina Bifida and has had to spend way too much time in hospitals. I had so much fun painting these pieces. I love bright, bold, colors and really this is how I see life. It is the second mural I have hanging in The Texas Children's Hospital.

Christopher’s World, by Jackie Carpenter. Christopher’s World is a personalized painting that was created for a large Mural at The Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. During the painting for the mural Jackie had a little great nephew born who is named Christopher. Christopher was born with a rare condition with the vessels of his heart being on the wrong side of his chest. Christopher underwent an open heart surgery when just days old. This sweet little soul has been a fighter since day one and so as a tribute to this little superhero once the mural was finished as per request, Jackie went back and put in more details that were meant for Christopher.
