In my own style I created this piece specifically for the tribal paint look – which is coloured red, gold and green. I used a picture of myself for a guide and did this piece with braided extension (each piece of artwork I create in my style I do with a different Afro-hair style for each). The original – which is all done by hand, lines and all – has gold paint for the necklace and hair beads. This is another one of my drawings with my own style I created. It’s the first man I’ve drawn in this style and it was inspired from the main character in Franco Rosso’s film ‘Babylon’. I love the detail in the hair, and the little colour I added.
