Tank Tops
Description: Once I hit my 30s, I realized I could not keep up with the young guns out there. I started dating younger guys just so I could find out if they had an uncle. I love a good uncle... one with a weathered look that says "I love kids, but I've seen some stuff." You know, a fun uncle. People call it a "funcle." Oh I went through a huge Funcle Phase!
Description: If you've read "The Art of Gathering," you've read about "The bob"... some one who is not a threat to the gathering, nor do they fulfill the purpose. You'd be just as okay is they didn't show up. We've all been bobs, the awkward invitee to a party in which we weren't the one personally invited... the awkward boyfriend/girlfriend, the aunt, the sister of a friend... we've all been there. Approach the party just claiming your bob-ness and by default, you aren't the bob anymore!

Description: “Get to the point. Make It funny.” This is often what most aspiring comedians are told when trying to figure out their material. We’re all trying to find our voice and own our stories. Comedian, artist and writer, JJ Barrows shares stories of people from all walks of life to educate, entertain and look for the gold in even the darkest of places. You don’t have to be a comedian to find the humor in life and realize no matter how pointless this life may seem sometimes, there is greatness to be found in the midst of it. It's a story telling podcast-- always with a twist of humor. That's the Jest of It... with JJ Barrows.
Description: I've always wanted to make my own hometown shirt. After painting a bunch of sea turtles this year and realizing my hometown is home to where to many hatch, BOOM! With a lot of color and love for my blessed isle, this design is now available in two options: front and back with small front logo, and front only with large logo! (check out Front and Back Pawleys Island tee shirt).
Description: Based on my comedy bit about growing up in the south and being taught to be proud of southern heritage, only to find out my mother was born in New Jersey. When we told her we learned about "damn yankees" in school, she jumped up and said "I'ma damn Yankee!" The only time I ever heard my mother swear. Where ever you're from, be proud!
Description: I grew up in Pawleys Island, South Carolina where sea turtles come and lay their eggs on the beaches. The babies have to learn to make their own way to the ocean. It's tempting to want to help them, but the journey from the sand to the ocean strengthens and prepares them for ocean wildlife. All the beach houses on the island know... lights out! Sea turtles dig the dark!
Description: Let's be honest, in the year 2020, we're not really sure how to greet new people or say hi to old friends... we all end up doing some weird shimmy as we try to figure out how to say hello. Let friends know if they can go in for the hug or not... Avoid the awkwardness by giving them a heads up without even having to ask! This is shirt is for my husband... he's a hugger. I, on the other hand, will be wearing the other shirt!
