Description: A digital painting of a child possessed by the spirits of assassins. Or maybe the brat invited them in, who knows.

Description: A tarot card design taking heavy cues form the classic RWS deck so many know best. But with a corgy and hip hop dancing.

Description: When the cloak of silence falls, it will be up to just the one fighting back to make a difference.

Description: We are all made from so many layers and have so much detail to us. Digital illustration helping to understand.

Description: The German word for forest is Wald. Or Forst. Or Hain. Or Dickicht. There are a lot of thigns to say about trees standing together. This graphical illustration shows the beauty of the dense forest.

Description: This shirt take on the colour of yours. A western guitarist takes a break after a long day doing things from cowboy dreams. Originally created as a music festival poster.

Description: Created as a speculative music album cover, this piece has it all - the city, the sewer drains, the chemical spill that may or may not turn the little rodentia and whatnot into mutants to terrorize (or save) the city.

Description: A bucket of music notes being spilled energetically. Created as a speculative music album cover.

Description: A fiery head gives off smoke and embers. The brain uses up twenty percent of the body's energy. There is no such thing as not using your head, but you can use it for rubbish.

Description: High up on the pile of grungy leftovers of civilisation, one fire lights the way. Or does it?

Description: Music is a life elixir - "whoever first came up with putting tones together, I'm a fan" to loosely quote ABBA.

Description: A spin on the delivery man making it through rain and storm, to bring us - music lps!

Description: A fun illustration about how reading improves spelling. So read, people! This was inspired by my love for the library, especially as a kid.

Description: The cat, good light, and the newest volume. Woah, neat; just one more chapter, just the appendix, just the prologue of the next one - and the sun is up.

Description: The cats, a good pillow, the latest magazine. Ah, I see; just check out this statistic, just get the footnotes, just this lead article or maybe the next one too - and the sun is up.

Description: The cat, a console, the favourite game. Bleep, bluup, bleep; just one more level, just visit the merchant again, just solve this puzzle real quick - and the sun is up.

Description: The cat, an anti-allergic blanket, and nothing but time. Mmh, finally sleep; just scratch the cat's chin some, shift slightly, turn away from the window - and the sun is up.

Description: "Age of the Geek!" I loved this slogan of Leverage's Harland. For this programmer - and I am sorry that having to decide for one phenotype ended up this run-in-the-mill - I made some allegoric presentations and gave him a few knick-knacks while trying not to overdo it. As so often I used Blender for modelling a ref image. The snake is largely worked from photos; pythons' pit organs around their mouths unfortunately make them look really weird. I had a ton of tangents to work out and a bazillion lightsources, so there were a lot of small things that went wrong at some point, I am confident that I figured out most of them.

Description: The notes trailing off her are the opening of Beethoven's Fifth symphony, possibly the best known piece of music in the world. Sadly, my musical understanding is only that of appreciation; it's fun trying to depict something immaterial and moving in a still image. Technically this was interesting because I surprised myself how many mediums I pulled together making this, starting in pencils, then going for powdered charcoal applied with water, watercolour pencils and finally even inks. I topped it with a bucket of fixative before applying the metal so I wouldn't brush off the charcoal - adding powder in water is quite enjoyable but it falls right off the paper.
