Description: A mute swan was slowly foraging through this dense green covering. This was in a swamp in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

Description: I was taken to a swamp area in Prince Edward County where numerous trees had nests on top with Herons flying back and forth. Truly magical.

Description: One cool winter day I went to see the Trumpeter Swans by the docks in Washago. I was surprised by how many there were and how much noise they made!

Description: Looking at this beautiful Roseate Spoonbill all I could think of was so pretty in pink!

Description: This Green Iguana - Yes I see it's orange but officially it's green. :) - was sitting so elegantly in the tree it had to be posing for the Wetlands visitors.

Description: A number of these ducks were hanging around the neighborhood. I wondered why then I saw that they were being fed.

Description: It was interesting to see this Florida bird, an Anhinga, lounging around on top of the decoy. Eventually it spread it's wings and flew off.

Description: I didn't see the alligator when it was pointed out to me. I just took a picture in the general area and hoped that I got it in my frame!

Description: As a change of pace I decided to draw some flowers, nothing serious. Then I inked them in, then I went for my watercolours, and then I loved what I'd created!

Description: Another great find at the Brickworks in Toronto. Good thing I was looking down at that moment. Froggie was right in my path!

Description: When you are at the Brickworks in Toronto you will often catch sight of this Great Blue Heron, nicknamed Larry.

Description: The title sounds like an opera! I don't think I even noticed the bee when I took a picture of this beautiful monarch.

Description: This Robin caught my attention because it seemed a bit disheveled, like a youngster might be. My thought was it had recently become an adult. I loved it's puffy chest.

Description: The image for this rose was snapped while walking in Larchmont, N.Y. near a park by Long Island Sound. I am always on the lookout for flowers that appeal to my artistic sense. Most often when I do some research later I find the flowers have special meaning such as this one: Giving yellow roses can tell someone the joy they bring you and the friendship you share.

Description: Caught this little female Hummingbird taking a sip in the garden. Always feels better to see this rather than see them at the feeder.
