Description: The battle was named for the two American Black Hawk helicopters shot down by Aideed's militiamen. The military operation to rescue the downed servicemen led to the death of 18 American troops, one Pakistani and one Malaysian soldier. The movie doesn't convey the magnitude of that fatality incident, the book is more real and veridic. This design is my humble tribute to all does heroes to risked their own life, and to all does who didn't make it back home.
Description: Donald "Wardaddy" Collier is fictional character in the movie 'Furi', played very well by Brad Pitt. Although it's all fictional characters, the plot it was base in real events from that terrible war against the Germay Nazi. I love all the quotes in the movie, and together with the unfold of the plot, inspired me to create this design.

Description: The great 'Satchmo' like they use to call him, is an American icon and one of the greatest influencer musician of the 20th century. This is a humble tribute to this amazing musician that blowed one of the best trumpet solo as well as song singing that majestically left a mark.
Description: This is it, this was the place be at in the late ’50. The first Jazz club at ‘The City’ open up on December 15, 1949 at 1680 Broadway Avenue just north of West 52nd Street in Manhattan. John Coltrane record couple of live LP, Count Basie's Basie at Birdland. Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Louie Bellson, Bud Powell, Johnny Smith, Stan Getz, Lester Young, and Ella Fitzgerald among other jazz celebrities. The clubs were frequented by; Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Gary Cooper, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Sugar Ray Robinson, Marlene Dietrich, Joe Louis, and other celebrities at that time. This is my version of the logo and concept of that first ‘Birdland’ club. The Club closed in 1965 and reopened in another location in 1986.
Description: This is one of the warning signs at the fences of the area 51 facilities. I believe everything behind that area together with the history.

Description: Rucker Park is a basketball court in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, at 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. If you grew up in the 'the city' and you were a better than average hoop player you knew you had to play on that court like a bunch of other NBA stars -24 to be exact-. There's great history in that court to get inspired and feel proud of NYC.
Description: I find this movie festival from Waterford, Ireland in research. This festival tribute every year the legacy of Charlie Chaplin presenting comedy movies in different categories. This is my version of one of the promotional poster of this festival.

Description: A small military tribute to brothers from the 1st Cavalry Division Air Assault which saved a lot of brothers back in ‘Nam’. 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) begins to arrive in South Vietnam at Qui Nhon, bringing U.S. troop strength in South Vietnam to more than 125,000. The unit, which had a long and storied history, was the first full U.S. Army division deployed to Vietnam. This is my most honest respect for their services.
Description: Back in 1976, this Austrian boy produce a movie called 'Pumping Iron' which flunk in Hollywood as a major movie production but the legacy of the same is still in-between the most influential film of the century. He won several bodybuilding titles, multi-millionaire entrepreneur, governor of Cali, in between other things. This is my tribute to this movie that gave this discipline and lifestyle great recognition.
Description: I just don’t know what it is. I’m a science person, and the evidence is not enough convincing to state an intelligent opinion. But it’s enough evidence to conclude that it is something out there ‘Ape’ looking and bipedal leaving deep in the woods. Bigfoot will not stay long as an allusive ‘primate’ and somebody will kill one – unfortunately – to make it officially. This design is dedicated to those few of us that are not quite convinced yet.

Description: One of my philosophical though and I perfectly express it in this illustration. We are eternal, maybe not with this shell on this existence but we are. The mass may die but evolve in another life form so in a way this body also transcends existence. That's why 'life always finds a way to its continuity.
Description: Patrol Boat, Riverine, or PBR, is the United States Navy designation for a small rigid-hulled patrol boat used in the Vietnam War from March 1966 until 1975. The PBR’s were used to insert and extract Navy SEAL teams and were employed by the United States Army's 458th Transportation Company, known as the 458th Sea Tigers during the Vietnam War. They were two models of this PBR; the Mark II and III just 1 foot longer in length and minor upgrade in the last one. These boats can navigate up to 2 feet deep without getting wrapped on seaweed and or river plants. The PBR become quite famous in Francis Coppola’s film “Apocalypse Now”.
Description: This is my version from one of the famous print posters of ‘the maestro’ Rafael Tufiño. This was the first jazz festival back in my homeland, Puerto Rico. No detail was found from this festival, back then was called ‘workshop’, just the location and the original poster of this amazing artist.
Description: I didn’t get much in my research but, Bop City in New York City exactly at 1619 Broadway (1949- 1965) - Northwest corner of Broadway and 49th Street at Brill Building, was a very intimate Jazz Club were big jazz celebrities used to show up and play their magic in a very private setting. Previously “Zanzibar” club, Bop City brought Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Billy Eckstine, Miles Davis, Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, John Coltrane (in October 1950) and Dewey Redman, in between others. This is my take of the original logo of this hidden magical club in ‘the city’.
Description: Elegguá, is the energy (spirit form) that open all the road of life according to the ‘Santeria’ which is the religion that African slave brought to the Caribbean... Is represented as a rascal child with a lot of sense of humor with Black and Red as his colors... He is in charge of good fortune and success but he also can close all that. And just in case I give to ‘Elegguá’ this offering as a token of “I’m cool open few doors for me” kind of thing…

Description: The Fillmore District has this fabulous Jazz festival every year over the 4th of July weekend. San Francisco holds several great Jazz festival, but The Fillmore Jazz Festival is the most popular. The Festival offers the best culinary exhibits that San Frans’ can offer also art exhibits to complement it. This is my version of the beautiful promotional poster that year.
Description: Another of my famous Jazz festival poster re-make, this one is from Newport, Rhode Island back in 1963. Which reunite the biggest Jazz stars, not just from that time but from all time, in my opinion. Eunice Kathleen Waymon, known professionally as Nina Simone, even came up from her great Carnegie Hall concert in New York City back in April to this amazing encounter of giants. Those hot summer days were like a young beautiful bride, and the magical talent of all these stars was like a young handsome groom that for four days created an eternal honeymoon of the best Jazz that the Gods ever heard. This tee shirt more than shows a poster is a souvenir of what all those amazing artists create in that magical four-night.
Description: Lee Morgan is another one of those great artists that life cut their existence short but leave us their incredible talent to enjoy it in one forever. Lee was killed by his wife who shot him in a New York club in a band performance. There’s a documentary “I called him Morgan” released in 2016, from where I heard about this LP called “Cornbread’. I liked it so much I decided to make a version of this great LP ‘vinyl’ art design, you heard right ‘vinyl’… these pieces of musical art are meant to be heard in ‘vinyl’ LP. July 10, 1938 – February 19, 1972 (33 years old).
