Description: Acrylic on canvas. I got the inspiration for this painting after my stay in Ireland in the summer of 2015. On September 8th (2 days before my journey home and on the day of Mary´s birth), I experienced the best day of this summer. It was a sunny day. I borrowed the car for the last time and drove to my favorite place called Glenstal Abbey. Previously, I was writing on my story... A story about Mary. On this day there seemed to be no time and history and reality were intertwined. In the monastery I not only met my dear friend Father Anthony (which plays a part in my book) but also Patrick, my partner and companion. The sketch to the picture was taken on the plane back home.
