This painting is dedicated to everyone who has been betrayed resulting in distrust towards others. "Trust Who?" with its vivid colours that illuminate the canvas, wishes to convey to the viewer an earnest desire to meet no liars or traitors along the path of life and so re-kindle in each of us faith in the human spirit.

Dedicated to all who have seen the dark, who have lived through bleak and obscure patches, to see that the sun return to shine on their lives, pushing them toward hope, serenity and trust.

Now hand in hand, serenely they walk together in their autumn years towards the church that first celebrated their love. A manifestation of the desire of all loving couples.

The church is located in the historic centre of Palermo, Sicily. A beautiful monument, a mix of styles and cultures: Arabic, Byzantine and Norman. A church with semi-spherical red cupolae, a wonderful garden and cloisters, with a bell-tower from which you get a magnificent view of the church itself and over part of Palermo.

Constantly at the fore of a parent's thoughts and actions

A desire for peace (“pace”) among people. “Pace”, not only in the sense of peace, but also in the sense of “passo” or “ritmo”, keeping step or keeping up with someone. Like the young people depicted, in step with each other, around the central objective of “Peace”. It is important for everyone to take a step towards an ever increasing commitment to finally achieve true equality among people and nations. Taking a step towards a better society, a society without frontiers, a society without discrimination, a society without barriers to diversity. Why is this not possible?
