The Illustration, 'You Silly Goose', has an endearing phrase for childish silly actions of a person. This was the perfect phrase to create into my 'Animal Puns' series of designs. It has a hint of light heartiness and fun.

Description: The Gorilla illustration was a new addition into my Wild Series, I wanted to create a powerful and strong animal, the silverback was the perfect subject. The symbolism of this creature in a variety of nations, is a message of leadership, however, not of the aggressive kind, it is a balance of understanding, compassion, and balance.

Description: The Tiger was an excellent animal to develop into an illustration for my Wild Series. Know for their strip furs and killer eyes, these were perfect to convert into my geometric drawing style. The animal has been a symbol of magnificence, strength, elegance and bravery and has been associated with fearlessness and valour.

Description: The Elephant design was an ideal animal to adapt into my Wild Series, set of illustrations. It’s iconic ears and tusks were perfect to adapt to geometric shapes and patterns. These gentle giants symbolise wisdom, stability and loyalty in a variety of cultures.

Description: Rhino, 'Rhinoceros', symbolises explosive power and in some cultures, they embody ancient wisdom. One challenging aspect of this illustration was creating depth from the horn to the eyes on the design. The end result is very effective with the combination of lines and abstract shapes.

Description: Created with a mixture of thin detailed pencilled lines alongside geometric shapes. In nations around the world, the lion represents power, wealth and courage.

Description: The Panda was a perfect animal to adapt to my geometric illustration style. Known as the “sacred creatures of the forest” and their black and the white fur makes these animals so iconic.
