Description: Designed by Millie (10), a cancer suvivor to raise awareness of childhood cancer and funds for childhood cancer research. The rainbow contains the colours of the common childhood cancers and slogans used by Millie during her cancer treatment - be brave, have hope and stay strong.
Description: Designed by Millie (aged 10), a cancer suvivor. The rainbow includes a Gold Childhood Cancer Awareness Ribbon which is a globally recognisable image and illustrates the precious nature of children. The colours of the rainbow represent the most common childhood cancers being, leukemia and kidney cancer (orange), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (lime green), brain cancer (grey), Hodgkin lymphoma (purple) and sarcoma/bone cancer (yellow). The hearts in the rainbow represent love and care. Three Awareness Rainbows have been developed each with a slogan that have been a symbol of Millie’s own cancer journey being: Be Brave, Stay Strong and Have Hope. Funds raised though the sale of the items will be donated to the Kids Cancer Project.
