Description: I've always thought of Trees as feminine since they come from our nurturing Mother Earth. Branches remind me so much of hair, and exposed roots remind me of trailing dresses. I've been sketching these kinds of trees throughout my life and my mother insisted That I start uploading them. So here we are.

Description: The Two Row wampum is a living treaty between the Haudenosaunee and the Dutch. Two purple rows running alongside each other representing two boats. One boat is the Haudenosaunee way of life. The other is the Dutch and theirs. The boats agree to travel side by side down the river of life in peace.
