This image was a special request from a mum of two beautiful little ones with Type One Diabetes. She shared with me how much was involved in everyday functioning just to keep them alive. This is a tribute to all the people who live with Type One Diabetes or care for someone who does. I hope you can be better understood by those around you who see at a glance just how much is involved, and can also feel encouraged that you are amazing! All this is so much for an octopus to deal with and yet you do it with only two arms! You are an everyday hero.
