Description: Let me introduce you to Dell, Sandia Mountain Information Station's hangar chief...and faux grump. Dell is a perfect combination of today's Clint Eastwood, and (the original) MacGyver. He can fix anything, he runs a tight ship (a particle of dust would not *dare* to land on one of his shiny engines!), and he's responsible for fixing the damaged caused by certain speedy-junkie pilots. *cough* Radar *cough* However, when those fixed up Sunfish class ships, like the Delta Dawn II, need to go out for a test flight...it's usually Dell at the controls teaching those "kids" a thing or two about flying. Hey Dell, can you sneak us poor Earth-humans one of those nifty floating lights, like the one in your picture?

Description: Who's behind that black stare? What manner of man is this? Part Jedi? Part Security Chief? Part...kitten rescuer in fuzzy slippers? Yes! To all of the above! This is Tht (Thought). He is the Head of Security for the Sandia Mountain Information Station and proud companion to "Lost Kitty - Hairball of Light," the weeks old kitten he rescued outside the station one day not long ago. Now this telekinesis wielding Security Head must protect his tender toes from the sharp claws of a playful kitten by wearing fuzzy bunny slippers. Surely, those lenses hide nothing but the kindest eyes in the galaxy, right? We may soon find out - check back later!

Description: When most people think of Bigfoot or Sasquatch, they picture full grown adult males. They often do not stop to consider the gals, nor the children. This portrait is of the close up of a young Sasquatch boy (on a windy day) who's image was captured as he was investigating the the lens of a trail cam.
Description: Our Zeta friend, Commander Tlkm requested this portrait in late June of 2019. He made us aware that he occasionally visits and consults with the great Elephant Nation elders. On his last trip, one of their youngsters approached him and Tlkm automatically reached out to touch and speak gently with this brave baby elephant. The P'nti remind us that not all sentient nations use hands to build things. For our Zeta friends, writing and construction are not the only measures of intelligence. Some of these nations have advanced beyond the need.
Description: How does one describe Zufu? The best way is to say this...he is a man continually in search of his next cup of hot t'ch (ta-Cha). That's coffee to us Earth humans. Zufu (also affectionately known as 'Fuzz' to Radar) spent years working in aquatic studies and surveys, and has only recently transferred to the Information Desk at the Sandia Mountain facility where he has quickly become a regular favorite with the Twitter locals. One wonders if a personal coffee maker might not make an excellent present for this young Pnti.

Description: The P'nti are a Star Nation who manage a facility beneath the Sandia Mountain on the eastern edge of Albuquerque. While those visited by the P'nti often see them with the black retractable lenses over their eyes, beneath them the P'nti have beautiful eye colors similar to our own but also including shades of lavender and amber.
Description: Meet Grayson, or as he is known by numerous of his fellows, Grayspeare. Grayson is a cultural liaison at the Sandia Mountain Information Station. One of his favorite literary icons is none other than Earth's own Williams Shakespeare. Don't let this contemplative look fool you; he is also quite the jokester. Like all P'nti he loves to laugh and have fun. You might well imagine that here in his portrait he is pondering the eternal question, "To prank, or not to prank. That is the question."
Description: Chensapa or Black Tree is one of the Sasquatch clan members who reside in the mountains west of Taos, New Mexico. He and his tribe are part of the bigfoot population found above 9000 feet elevation at the southern end of the Colorado Rockies. Black Tree received his name because, as a youngster, he witnessed lightning strike a tall pine very close to him and watched as it went up in flames, ending in nothing but a dark black spire pointing skyward. The power of the event struck him so hard he took on the name Black Tree or Chensapa.
Description: Sarah (whose real name is actually pronounced "Ser-hah") is the Sandia Mountain Information Stations Official First Contact historian. She studied official first contacts on other worlds and brought her knowledge to help prepare us for Earth's OFC in the fall of 2021.

Description: Zufu often is on the information desk at the Sandia Station early in the mornings answering questions from the public. Straightforward with a wry sense of humor, Zufu often helps with sharing words and phrases from his language. Most often, when he first hops onto Twitter in the predawn hours, you will see him ask, "Dkyw Kwh, cjcj whh?" (Good morning Blue Water People, what's up?"
Description: Orth, one of the P'nti of the Sandia Mountain Information Station helped us understand that our Zeta friends accept and embrace homosexuality within their culture. Orth told us that there were more genders out in the Milky Way Galaxy than we knew and when it comes to the expression of that, he smiled and simply said, "Love is love is love."
