Three of the most powerful swords in all of Film And TV Land! • Lion-O's mystical Sword of Omens - which can give him sight beyond sight and summon the other Thundercats at his battle cry. • The Power Sword which was bestowed upon Eternia's Prince Adam by the Sorceress of Greyskull. Fabulous secret powers were revealed to him the day he held it aloft and said, “By the power of Greyskull! I have the power!“ Adam became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe! • When Anakin succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force and was defeated by Obi-Wan Kenobi, his lightsaber was retrieved and given to Anakin's long lost son, Luke. The weapon of choice for a Jedi is not as clumsy or random as a blaster and is an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

Everyone has "their" Doctor; the one they grew up with - mine was the Fifth - the youthful, intrepid Doctor with his faithful robot dog K9. I also loved Herge's Adventures of Tin Tin - the story of a youthful, intrepid reporter and his faithful dog Snowy. Seemed a good match for a t-shirt mashup!

In the most controversial episode of Dungeons & Dragons, The Dragon's Graveyard, the show took a decidedly dark turn. The kids, fed up with Venger always ruining their attempts to get home decide that there's only one course of action left - to get rid of their nemesis for good with the help of the one thing he is afraid of - Tiamat the dragon. She lives in the place where the kids' weapons came from - and where they are immensely more powerful - The Dragon's Graveyard!

Jay & Silent Bob found out, in Dogma, to their dismay, that the Chicago suburb-town of Shermer, Illinois, was actually an entirely fictional place, dreamed up by the master of the 80s teen comedy/drama - John Hughes. Many of the films he wrote or directed were set in the same fictitious universe. In a 1999 interview he revealed the scale of this "Shermer-verse". 15 years worth of notebooks detailed how Ferris Bueller (FB's Day Off) was friends with Sam Baker (16 Candles), John Bender (The Breakfast Club) lived three doors down from Del Griffiths (Planes, Trains & Automobiles) and so on. What a shame his untimely death meant we did not get to see this 'verse expanded upon. The bulldog mascot was briefly mention in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the names at the bottom of the shirt are all Shermer High School alumni from the films: Home Alone, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, Some Kind Of Wonderful, Sixteen Candles & Weird Science
