Description: Danceteria was a four-floor nightclub located in New York City from 1979 until 1986 that became renowned as one of centers of new wave music in New York, frequented by many of the greatest musicians and artists of the decade, from rock to rap to punk to metal. Treated like a club flyer that's been photocopied a dozen times.
Description: Founded in 1980, The Ritz was located in the historic Webster Hall ballroom and concert space on 11th Street between Third and Fourth Avenues in New York's East Village. It received national attention after an antagonistic performance by John Lydon of Public Image Limited resulted in a riot, and would later host concerts every Saturday night aired live on MTV's "Live at the Ritz." Sting performed solo for the very first time at the Ritz, and the Talking Heads the very last, while acts as varied as G'n'R, Ozzy Osbourne, Bo Diddley, Iggy Pop, and Danzig all released live albums recorded there. Distressed for an authentic vintage look.
