Description: Area was a themed nightclub that operated from 1983 to 1987 at 157 Hudson Street in Manhattan, New York City. It was a hot spot for celebrities and luminaries of the New York art scene. The club was known for its unusual invitations and changing themes. I've recreated one of the invitations that used to be passed around when I was in college.
