Description: “Dude – All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I’m fine.” Jeff Spicoli wears this beautiful yellow Colt 45 t-shirt in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and while the movie is over 30 years old, Spicoli’s shirt is legendary and continues to be a difficult find, yet here it is in all its well-worn vintage glory. Wait, why so many shades of yellow, you ask? People are always asking what the ‘real color’ of the one Spicoli wears in the movie and our answer is alwasy that it depends. The shirt is most visible in the conveneince store scene and between the store’s flourescent lights, any analog color timing (grading) work done on the film, plus subsequent color correction and improvements in duplication, means it’s a real crap shoot.

Description: Thin Lizzy's Nightlife is an underrated gem of a record, while also a complete anomaly within their catalog. Subdued, soulful, and smooth in ways that Thin Lizzy never were before and rarely were afterwards. Of course, this hard rock band still included plenty of moments of the style of primal rock 'n' roll they were known for, though still managed to make it more enigmatic, sincere, and philosophically complex than their other material and certainly more so than their contemporaries at the time.
Description: James Heddon came upon the idea for an artificial fishing lure in 1894 when he threw a stick he had whittled into a local lake known as Mill Pond and watched as a bass hit it. His original lures were frogs carved from broomsticks and, over the next several years he shared them with fellow fishing enthusiasts in his Dowagiac, Michigan community and used their feedback to further refine his designs. By 1900 he was selling his lures locally, but as word got out, he formalized things and founded the Heddon Company in 1902. . He continued to make every lure by hand in the Heddon family kitchen, but by 1904 he opened a new factory in Dowagiac. By 1950 the Heddon name was well known and the company would go on to other peripheral fishing gear.

One just went through the windshield of a parked car! This is terrible! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! The crowd is running for their lives!”
