This painting was done in the flip cup method of acrylic pouring where paint is added to a cup and then flipped onto the canvas. I wanted to create a painting that contained similar colors to the mineral azurite. Azurite is a lovely deep blue mineral typically associated with copper deposits. In antiquity, it was mined as a blue pigment.

This is a fluid art acrylic pour painting The main colors are silver, powder blue,deep green,mint green with some veining of reddish copper and dark gray. The straight pour was done in a spiral pattern so the painting resembles a geode.
