Some people refer to this phenomenon of having more than one full moon appear in a month as a 'Blue Moon'. I took it one step further and created many coloured moons. The result is an abstract piece of pop art that provides a bold pattern for fashion and home decor.

Description: Kandinsky Rose is an original creation of mine that portrays an original rose painting in the style of the master, Wassily Kandinsky's 'Yellow-Red- Blue' painting of 1925. Description: 'Through the Forest and Into the Light' is an original image of mine, taken on the Toronto Island (Ontario, Canada) in the summer. The light through the trees and the people walking off in the distance left me with a magical impression. I enhanced the image with some digital photo painting, and this gave birth to an inspiring piece intended to bring joy and hope to the viewer. Description: About 'Sweet Little Buttercups': This image would make a delightful addition to a kitchen, bathroom, cafe, or sunroom. It would also make an excellent choice for a throw pillow or simply a set of greeting cards. "Buttercups usually flower in the spring, but flowers may be found throughout the summer, especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonizers, as in the case of garden weeds" (Wikipedia). When we were children, we'd pick these delightful little flowers and hold them under the chins of our friends while playing outside in the sunshine. If you saw the yellow reflection on their skin, it meant they liked butter. Of course, we didn't truly understand the properties of light until we became artists.

After filling balloons with coloured water and letting them sit out for a few days in below 0 Celsius to freeze, I remove the latex and create wonderfully unique frozen still life images.
