Description: Watercolor representation of two tufted titmice, singing together nicely. The tufted titmouse lives in deciduous forests in the Eastern US, nesting in crevices or holes in dead trees. Tufted titmice, or "tits," are a sexually dimorphic species, meaning that they look mostly the same regardless of sex. They live in pairs throughout the breeding season, but gather in flocks during the winter.
Description: Jasper's favorite part of the Winter Solstice was when he and Jarnsaxa would sneak out to the most remote point of the island, where no light from the docks or the wind farm would reach. While they nestled against the cold, she'd point out the constellations. She said they were never lost as long as they could look up.
