Description: This was based on a scene from "Don't Look in the Basement". After drawing out the characters and scenery, a layer of red was placed in the background to give the illusion of blood spatter.

Description: Using a cross-stitch pattern as my guide, I composed this was composed entirely of small x's, with translucent color overlay on an off-white background to give the illusion of embroidery.

Description: started with a photo of a rubber chicken, turned it into a cross stitch pattern, and used that as a guide. After painting in each area of color, I drew lines and circles over it as an overlay.
