Description: This design comes from a Soviet propaganda poster from 1961, originally by Soviet graphic artists Oleg Dmitrievich Maslyakov (О. Д. Масляков) and Efim Semyonovich Tsvik (Е. С. Цвик) and published by the (confusingly named) publisher Soviet Artist. The text on the design reads: "6 August 1961" and the text at the bottom reads: "I dedicate my flight to you, XXII Party Congress! Cosmonaut Major Titov" which comes from his preflight statement. On 6 August 1961, Cosmonaut Gherman Titov's Vostok 2 was the second successful human orbital mission in history, following Yuri Gagarin's Vostok 1 four months earlier. Description: My Mill grinds Pepper, and Spice, Your Mill grinds Rats, and Mice. Originally printed in Tommy Thumb’s Pretty Song Book, Vol. II, published in London in 1744, this tiny piece of Georgian-era children’s literature has somehow survived almost three centuries only to still remain relevant today, assuming you've got beef with someone who has an inferior mill. Description: This design comes from a historical internationalist solidarity poster about Chile, which I have carefully restored and recolored by hand in order to preserve this interesting piece of history. The original poster was made in 1976 by Ernesto García Peña, in Havana, for OSPAAAL. Historically, the poster sits in the aftermath of the 11 September 1973 coup in Chile, when the armed forces overthrew socialist President Salvador Allende and established a military dictatorship. Description: 'Field-tested abroad, home-deployed' by default: the 'imperial boomerang' is what happens when occupation strategies used on the other side of the world return home as domestic policing tactics. Description: This design is a faithful restoration of a 1921 Bolshevik propaganda poster, originally attributed to Vladimir Kozlinskii, that's been restored, recolored, remastered, and redrawn by hand in order to preserve this important piece of history. The text translates to: "The dead of the Paris Commune have risen again under the red banner of the Soviets!” In essence, the artwork claims that the defeated revolutionaries of Paris Commune of 1871 have been vindicated by the October Revolution, and that the martyrs live on through the new Soviet Union. Description: The poster that this design was originally restored from was created in 1967, produced for the Soviet Union’s 50th anniversary of 1917. This striking red-and-black Soviet poster, designed in 1967 by V. Kalensky, stages the revolution as a living command rather than a past event: a forward-pointing figure fills the frame while the slogan surges behind him in turbulent lettering, turning words into atmosphere and momentum. The text reads: “Power to the Soviets! Peace to the Peoples! Land to the Peasants!” This design has been carefully restored by hand in order to preserve this important piece of history. Description: Despite being produced in the 1920's, the speculative depiction of what a future war could look like is reminiscient of science-fiction that wouldn't be produced until decades later. I have carefully redrawn, recolored, and restored this design by hand in order to preserve this interesting piece of early Soviet and Azerbaijani artistic and geopolitical history. The large title reads: "Gələcək müharibələrin dəhşəti" or "The Horror (terror / nightmare) of Future Wars." The postcard represents a mood of political disillusionment after the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905). Description: This is a rare poster from the Chinese Cultural Revolution, which seems to be celebrating the 1966 Wuhan Workers Rebel Army defeating counter-revolutionaries and capitalists. This poster obscurity may be due its relation to the 1967 Wuhan Incident, where two communist factions (The Million Heroes and Wuhan Workers' General Headquarters) waged an armed conflict with each other, both hoping to gain the support of the central authorities in Beijing. This sign of internal conflict and civil strife within China at the time, may have resulted in this poster being considered rather controversial, given that it is celebrating conflict within the party. The incident represented a turning point in the Cultural Revolution, as it lead to major concerns

Dragonflies can reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, making them some of the fastest flying insects! Ants can lift objects 50 times their own body weight, making them incredibly strong for their size! Termites never sleep!
