Description: Delicate and strong. Creating the concept for this piece was mere happenstance. I was visiting Maine with my two boys, and while paddling around Burgess Pond, we stopped by a small spit of land to peep some turtles, stack some stones, and cast our lines a handful of times. The vision of a delicate fern branch swaying in the warm summer breeze while my two sons played with granite pebbles, barefooted, under the bough of the pine trees materialized what you have before you.
