Once the king of canned chow mein and the freezer-aisle egg roll empire that ruled from the ’50s through the ’80s (peaking hard in the 1970s), Chun King fed a generation of families who thought “Chinese food” meant a tray of crispy rolls and a can of chop suey. Now the defunct icon lives again on soft cotton—pure retro kitchen nostalgia for anyone who grew up with that red-and-gold packaging in the freezer.
