Description: Louis XV, the 18th-century monarch, is historically renowned for his refined tastes and extravagant lifestyle. However, it is an anachronism to suggest that he drank soda, as this carbonated beverage was not invented until the late 18th century, well after his reign. Louis XV was more likely to have indulged in the luxurious beverages of his time, such as fine wines and exotic teas, rather than the contemporary fizzy refreshments we associate with sodas today.
