After achieving victory against the False Angels, after the first contact war, the Federation of Freedom Fighters handed over the captured "angel" alien fleet ships as well as any technology pertaining to the now fallen empire. This would become the order of Presidium Paladins. A zealous order that now utilizes the very technology they seized. Proclaiming themselves the "Protectors", they have ultimate jurisdiction to bring justice and order to all sectors of the Federation space.
