Pillows
Description: This personal illustration came up from an affirmation I had written in my journal. It said: “I’ve got this! Life has my back”. And it’s so true. I have faith in everything working out the way it’s meant to. With the waves of life, everything falls into place and there is always a silver lining/good around the corner. Have faith the universe has a plan for you and that all will work out ❤️
Description: Doors lead to all sorts of opportunities and experiences, when one door closes another door opens. I’ve always found myself exploring and off the beaten track or seeing a path leading somewhere and having a look to see where it goes, and through those decisions discovering some pretty cool things. Explore, open your mind and you will see.
Description: Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed or life’s getting too busy and I make time to ‘do what’s good for the soul’ like spending time at the beach being present, I feel amazing and bought down to a calm earth again. It’s so important and something to consciously make time for all the time. Work hard, chill hard and make time for that soul goodness 🙏🏻
Description: One of my more simple but inspired sketches vectorised. This one was inspired by my first trip to the South Island of New Zealand. What I wanted to inspire here is that the world is a beautiful place and it’s right here for us to explore. Explore your own backyard and take it all in. I also wanted to inspire people who may be struggling just to know that through all the hardship there is so much to see and appreciate in this life, even if that just means exploring somewhere a drive away or what’s in your own backyard.
Description: This word popped into my mind the last time we went through lockdown and I visualised and sketched the word with flowers sprouting out. It came to mind again just recently when I decided to create it in the digital form. Words are so powerful and this is one to repeat. While we are in lockdown again, I’ll try to use any downtime as a space to thrive and focus on things I wouldn’t normally have the time to do. Sometimes it takes some quietness and simplicity of life to thrive 🤘🏻🌻🤘🏻
