What we hope will be the first of many Choose your own adventure inspired book covers with fun and heretical twists! Designed by The Raven's Keep Creative/John Cullimore

Newt is an original character created by the Raven's Keep system. Named after Newt in the 1987 movie Aliens, Newt is alarmed at the world she sees around her. So, in order to hide and feel safe, this is the mask and disguise she created for herself. Newt is very small but puts up a big fight. She has a very dark sense of humor and looks forward to sharing it with the world.

A design we've been playing with for a while. We were raised fundamentalist and the symbols combined here were all taboo concepts. Disbelief, self-actualization, atheism, witchcraft and anarchy... It's been so fun to enjoy them and deconstruct our childhood this way. Also, as a bit of added blasphemy we added the "I AM" at the top, supposedly only god can say that but I just did so, it's all good. And "We ARE" at the bottom honoring our many parts as a plural system. (DID)

I made this purely for my kiddos. But, if you like it too, awesome.

I was raised fundamentalist. And sometimes I look at these two symbols and they just burn in me with fire and rebellion. I love it. I was scared, so scared to ever draw these as a child for fear of summoning dark forces. But now it's so much fun and so cathartic to draw them and meditate on them in freedom.

It's complicated. Being a survivor isn't always easy to talk about. We've seen dark, dark things. We've seen the worst sides of humanity and have lived to tell the tale. And, we often have a bit of a black sense of humor.

Sometimes we're not ok, and that's ok. Sometimes we don't notice that we're not ok.

We absolutely love butterflies, dragonflies and moths. So, we're gonna keep making really pretty designs!
