Description: 1958 Chevrolet Impala side view The 1958 Chevrolet models were longer, lower, and wider than their predecessors. The tailfins of the 1957 were replaced by deeply sculptured rear fenders. Impalas had three taillights each side, while lesser models had two and wagons just one. Description: After the rear-engine Chevrolet Corvair was outsold by the conventional Ford Falcon in 1960, Chevrolet completed work on a more conventional compact car that would eventually become the Chevy II. For 1962, Chevy II launched its "Turbo Thrift" inline-six 230 cu in engine. The Nova name was the higher-spec variant of the Chevy II, but this name eventually replaced the Chevy II name in 1968/1969.
Description: 1965 Valiant AP6 V8 Valiant V8 models were released in August 1965. A V8 sedan and V8 Safari wagon were offered, both powered by a 273 cu in V8 engine with “TorqueFlite 8” automatic transmission. V8 models could be identified by V8 badges, with the V8 sedan having a vinyl roof and the V8 Safari wagon being fitted with a roof rack. Power-assisted brakes were standard equipment. Although it utilized Regal trim and equipment, the V8 was marketed as the Valiant V8, not as a Valiant Regal V8.
