Description: Fresh off the easel or I should say wall, I don't have an easel this big. My latest painting in my large painting rhythmic cubist series of paintings. This one is in acrylic and my favorite subjects to paint, dancers and musicians tripping the lights fantastic into the wee hours of the morning.
Description: jazz guitarists in my signature rhythmic cubist style. It's called Guitar Warp which I've stenciled in the painting but in French. Earth tones, siennas, umbers, cerulean outlines. A big, dramatic work. While that monster hurricane was heading towards FL, everybody was running around frantically getting supplies, water, gas. I stayed home and painted and it had to be big to keep my mind off of the terror. Lucky for us it turned and didn't affect my area, unfortunately it didn't miss the Bahamas. Painting always makes me feel safe and secure, my studio is my safe place.
Description: A commission I did for a really cool lady who wanted a big wild, colorful painting for a big wall in her stairway. When I finished, it was too big to put in my car so I stretched it in her living room. LOL She wanted the marigold yellow because it matched a really gorgeous leather chair & ottoman. She said the trombone player looked just like her friend who is a trombone player. I love this business it's so amazing. Acrylic on 50x72x1.5 canvas
Description: my dancers and musicians series which is ongoing and is actually my favorite, when I do other things I start missing it and have to go back. This one has a double vision effect, they way you feel when you're at the disco, dancing after a couple of drinks, in the strobe lights.
Description: A commissioned painting I did for a client who wanted it for his Vacation home. My latino musicians and salsa dancers having a crazy, wild good time! I love when people want the bright colors, I'm happiest painting my people in bright colors. This was 72x78 oil on loose canvas.
Description: My depiction of my experience with Love, after running into a couple of exes lately inspired this painting. It's from my new series of large paintings. In this one I used some colors I don't normally use, like pink, peachy, greys, greens, sagey gray greens. I do like it, it makes me happy.

They are ongoing since I love painting them so much, they make me happy! This one is very colorful with many of my characters that are loosely based on various people that have crossed my path over the years at parties, nightclubs, dance studios, etc. The main colors are cobalt blue, my all time fave, and marigold yellow which is so popular right now and I've become obsessed with it LOL. It is acrylic on loose canvas,
