Description: Tenerife Guanche La Isla de Tenerife se encuentra a algo más de 300 Kms. del continente africano y a unos 1300 Kms. de la Europa Occidental. Tiene 2.034 Km2 de superficie y alzándose en su centro el gigantesco Pico del Teide, con sus 3.718 metros de altura. El Guanche tiene su territorio de montañas, valles, barrancos y costas, un cielo lleno de estrellas y el mar como frontera. Adornado por Dragos y Tajinastes, Podencos, Corujas, Perenquenes, Cernícalos, tortugas boba y cabras entre otras bellezas de la isla.
Description: La coruja es un buho que habita en las islas, el ave soberana de la noche. La coruja representa, inteligencia, sabiduría y conocimiento. Ella tiene la capacidad de ver a través de la oscuridad, lo que otros no ven. Sus hábitos son crepusculares y nocturnos y su vuelo silencioso debido a la estructura de las plumas; se alimentan de pequeños mamíferos, insectos y arañas, entre otros, que tragan por entero, después vomitando pelotas con pelos y fragmentos de huesos.
Description: The name Guanche comes from a generalization of the name of the inhabitants of the island of Chinet or Tenerife. The native of Tenerife was nevertheless called "Wa-n-Chinet" (Chinet's), CHINET being the name of the island in its language, and it was applied to the aborigines of the other Canary Islands for many years. Here we want to represent it as an international figure, without borders or divisions, art as a flag and with the variety of colours that make up our culture today.
Description: The "Menceyatos" are territorial demarcations and how the island of Tenerife was divided before the arrival of the "conquistadors" in the fifteenth century. On one side of the "Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias", located in Candelaria, are bronze sculptures representing 9 "menceyes" (kings): Acaimo, mencey of Tacoronte; Adjona, mencey de Abona; Añaterve, mencey Güimar; Bencomo, king or mencey of Taoro; Beneharo, mencey of Anaga; Pelinor, mencey of Adeje; Pelicar, mencey of Icod; Romen mencey of Daute; and Tegueste, mencey of Tegueste.
Description: The term "Guanche" ("wan-tche") was the way in which the first settlers of Tenerife referred to themselves, and was applied to the natives of the other Canary Islands for many years. Thus, the "Guanche" would originally come from the Berber language, from the words "wa n" (A) "shen" (shen), which would mean 'the (man) who is from "Ashenshen"' (Achineche / Chineche, Tenerife). This design (T-shirt), represents the birth of our character, "the Guanche", symbolizing the arrival to his new "world of caricature".

But only unique beings inhabit it like the hound, the "coruja" owl, the Canary Island wall gecko, the Kestrel, the loggerhead turtle and the Canarian goat, among many others.
