Description: I drew this character with a Japanese-style outfit (inspired by a Miko's attire) combined with clown makeup, shoes, and more. The background is based on the traditional Seigaiha pattern, with a light green tint. Interestingly, when I later researched this Japanese pattern, it seemed to have connections to Gagaku and traditional costumes. It's quite a coincidence!
Description: Today had its ups and downs, but I always want to keep a smile on my face. 😊 I received a DM asking, "Isn't it tough to live as an amateur and unemployed?" To be honest, even if someone points out the obvious with a throwaway account, I thought, "So what? What's your point?" This drawing was created during such a moment. I believe that creating many artworks is a positive thing, and there are many small joys and a sense of accomplishment in everyday life. Stay positive! 💛

This approach allows me to make quick decisions about what fits or doesn't without overthinking, and I often use it when I feel stuck. This time, it resulted in a stained glass-like composition.

I actually struck this pose myself, took a photo for reference, and, I must admit, I've had the urge to smash my iPhone every time I look at it. 😄

The time spent contemplating line control and finding the right brushwork was incredibly enjoyable. During those days, I solely used pencils, and the addition of color this time added a multitude of elements to the artwork. I grappled with choosing a title, but ultimately, the word "Blessing"(SHUKUFUKU) felt perfectly fitting due to its resonant Japanese sound.
