Description: This one was heavily inspired by my wife, who wanted her favorite quote from the movie Life. It has so many classic one-liners I could honestly make a whole line of shirts just off the quotes alone. “This ain’t my daddy’s watch!” is one of the funniest moments and it wasn’t even in the actual movie, it came from an outtake. This design went through a lot of tweaks since concept. At first I was trying way too hard to make it realistic, but the whole point was to push the humor and exaggeration. So I leaned into the caricature style and focused on the expression so that even without reading the quote, you already know exactly what scene it’s referring to.
