Description: This piece was drawn using ink and pen to explore the contrast between life and decay. I’ve always loved the symbolism of skulls. Skulls represent endings, but also transformation. The flowers and butterflies growing from the skull to show that even in emptiness or stillness, new thoughts, growth, and beauty can take root. It’s about finding peace in what’s gone, and letting something softer bloom in its place.
