30X40 Design Workshop

Description: The best advice I can give to any creator (and the three words I end all my videos with) is to “Go make things..." Not aimless making though, making with intent. "Go Make Things" using your own, weird, idiosyncratic lens and then, share them with the world!

Description: A parti is another term for the 'architectural concept'. It's where we start the design process, with an idea and a 'parti'. So, yeah, it's parti time.

Description: Le Modulor created by LeCorbusier, a proportioning system based on the human dimension.

Description: The black infill on walls drawn on an architectural plan. This tee is a wink and a nod to that concept and infills the "P" and the "O" letterforms.

Description: A graphic nod to one of architecture’s most iconic drawings. The “O” is reimagined as a Nolli Plan. Recognizable to architects and design students alike, it’s a subtle nod that signals your place in the discipline.

Description: A play on the architect's signature concrete style. The four dots in the letterforms "D" + "O" represent the form ties which distinguish his rigorous architectural style.

Description: A graphic play in type and place. PORT and LAND are stacked to frame the city’s name, zip code, and state. The “O” is left open, a porthole-like detail that nods to Portland’s maritime identity.

Description: Celebrating one of Portland’s most distinctive neighborhoods. The design highlights East Bayside’s industrial edges, breweries, and waterfront grit with a clean graphic print.

Description: A tribute to Mount Desert Island’s granite heritage. This design nods to the Macomber quarry and the craft that shaped Maine’s coastline and cities. Rugged, understated, and rooted in local history.
