Description: The third-generation RX‑7, (sometimes referred to as FD, chassis code FD3S for Japan and JM1FD for the North America), featured an updated body design. Announced in October 1991, production began later that month before going on sale in December in the domestic Japanese market. Left-Hand-Drive export production began shortly after. The 13B-REW engine was the first-ever mass-produced sequential twin-turbocharger system to be exported from Japan, boosting power to 255 PS (188 kW; 252 hp) in 1992 and finally to 280 PS (206 kW; 276 hp) by the time production ended in Japan in 2002.

The Silvia name is iconic in the automotive world, especially in the JDM scene. The sixth generation Silvia, codenamed S14,was an important car that was included in the Nissan S-platform and deserves recognition because of two defining characteristics: Its physical appearance and lightweight made this car incomparable.

Although initially only available with naturally aspirated engines, a turbocharged version was added in the 1987 model year. The Supra was now mechanically related to the Soarer.

Description: The naturally aspirated model came standard with the W58 manual transmission. The turbocharged models included the R154 manual transmission. Both were available with the optional 4-speed A340E automatic transmission. The third-generation of the Supra represented an arsenal of new technology. In 1986, options available for the Supra included a 3-channel ABS and TEMS which gave the driver two settings which affected the damper rates; a third was automatically activated at wide open throttle, hard braking and high speed maneuvering. ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System), a method of controlling air compression pulses inside the intake piping to increase power, was also a part of the 7M-GE's technological arsenal.
Description: The S15 Silvia included aggressive styling inside and out, updating the previous Silvia styling in-line with modern car design trends. The body dimensions were reduced from the previous generation so that it would comply with Japanese Government compact class, which had an effect on sales of the previous model. The S15 Silvia model lineup was initially simplified to just Spec-S and Spec-R, with both models offering an "Aero" variant with a large rear wing, side skirts, valances and front bumper. This generation of the Silvia was only sold new in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia and New Zealand the car was sold as the Nissan 200SX.
Description: Constructed to race in Lamborghini’s Diablo Supertrophy one-make series, the GTR starts with a standard 6-liter GT car, and the modification list then becomes rather extensive. The highlights mainly center around chassis, suspension, and ancillary system improvements (like better cooling and braking systems), but the engine does get a revised exhaust system that boosts output to 590 horsepower. While doing without the AWD system found on the VT and other models, the GTR stays glued to the pavement thanks to a huge rear wing to provide downforce at high speeds. To save weight, the body is primarily carbon fiber and the wheels are made of a lightweight magnesium alloy.

Mazda also replaced the hydraulic power steering system that the previous Miatas had with their new Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system.
