White Dragon Merch
Description: Early in the film, Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard sits down at the White Dragon noodle bar and orders. Before Deckard is whisked away by Edward James Olmos’ character, he has an exchange with the bar’s Sushi Master, who speaks to him in Japanese. While waiting for his food, Deckard takes his chopsticks, breaks them apart, and begins rubbing them together. It might not be Blade Runner’s most iconic scene, but it could be one the film’s most impressionable. Deckard seems comfortable ordering at a Japanese restaurant, so he must know something, right? Blade Runner has become a cultural mainstay, and if you are vaguely interested in Japan, you’ve probably seen it.
Description: This flowing circular design features a flowing Chinese dragon. The body of the serpent snakes around from the top of the pattern down to the swirling tail. Four large claws extend from the body of the dragon creating an aggressive yet elegant stance. This beautiful pattern is a stylish take on the traditional Chinese dragon.
Description: T-shirt with an exclusive design inspired by the Tail of the Dragon, the legendary mountain route located in Tennessee along US 129. This winding pass, famous among motorcyclists and driving enthusiasts for its 318 curves in just 11 miles, also holds a clandestine past—it was once a route used for whiskey smuggling during the Prohibition era. The design blends classic motorcycle elements with graphic references to the mountainous landscape and the historical legacy of this iconic road.
Description: Usually adopted with either a white background or a red background. The white dragon from the London Coat of Arms, bearing the Cross of Saint George on it's wing. The white dragon is an ancient Anglo-Saxon symbol, though the dragon being a part of London's coat of arms was not adopted until the 16th Century, long after the Norman Conquest of England.
Description: The earliest usage of the white dragon as a symbol of the Anglo-Saxons is found in the Historia Brittonum. The relevant story takes place at Dinas Emrys when Vortigern (the king of the Britons) tries to build a castle there. Every night, unseen forces demolish the castle walls and foundations. Vortigern consults his advisers, who tell him to find a boy with no natural father, and to sacrifice him. Vortigern finds such a boy, but on hearing that he is to be put to death to solve the demolishing of the walls, the boy dismisses the knowledge of the advisors. The boy tells the king of the two dragons. Vortigern excavates the hill, freeing the dragons. They continue their fight and the red dragon finally defeats the white dragon.
