Description: Tammy Faye Bakker stood out as a compassionate voice for the LGBTQ community during a time of widespread hostility from religious figures. In 1985, she interviewed Steve Pieters, a gay minister with AIDS, responding with empathy, tears, and a message of love rather than judgment—an approach that sharply contrasted the era’s rhetoric. This design draws inspiration from her 1985 record Don’t Give Up!, which featured the uplifting title track “Don’t Give Up (On The Brink Of A Miracle).”
