GDSF 2015 - Sentinel Steam Bus 'Martha' Number of views as of 17th April 2018 = 480. Built in 1932 (presumably at the Sentinel Waggon Works in Shrewsbury, England), this vehicle was originally a flatbed steam lorry. First purchased by the Cardiff Gas Light & Coke Company, it later worked in Ireland for 10 years and was transported back to England in the 1970s. Thirty years on, its owners at the time decided to convert the vehicle into a bus and obtained approval from the Ministry of Transport to carry fare-paying passengers, which it has been doing since 2005.
