John William Coltrane is an American composer. He plays the saxophone. Born in Hamlet, North Carolina. He had a career in music from 1946 to 1967

Verve Records was founded in 1956 by Norman Granz, widely acknowledged as the most successful impresario in the history of jazz. The label was home to the world's largest jazz catalog which included some of the greatest jazz artists of all time. Verve also absorbed the catalogs of Granz's earlier labels, Clef, founded in 1946, Norgran, founded in 1953, and material previously licensed to Mercury. In addition to his extensive work in promoting jazz music, Granz was known for his anti-racist positions and for integrating jazz audiences in a time when integrating anything was pretty unheard of in a lot of places.

This is my version of the promotional poster from one of the popular live concerts and recordings from John Coltrane. I did my version to make it more attractive to a black shirt. The original poster was used as CD art on the 2011 CD version from the album, outstanding recording and version you should check it out.

Whipped Cream & Other Delights is a 1965 album by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, called "Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass" for this album, released on A&M Records. It is the band's fourth full album and arguably their most popular release. This album saw the band nearly abandoning its Mexican-themed music, featuring mostly instrumental arrangements of popular songs, and also generating some major pop hits for the first time since "The Lonely Bull." One "tradition" of the early Brass was to include a number rendered in "strip-tease" fashion, and this album's entry for that style was "Love Potion No. 9." The album sold over 6 million copies in the United States, and the album cover alone is considered a classic pop culture icon.
