A 60's style coloured theme of the word hurdy gurdy, which is a stringed instrument often played with bagpipes. The instrument has a wheel which is turned by a crank and the strings make a sound when in contact with the wheel.

The hurdy-gurdy is generally thought to have originated from fiddles in either Europe or the Middle East. The hurdy-gurdy is a stringed instrument that produces sound by a hand crank-turned, rosined wheel rubbing against the strings. The wheel functions much like a violin bow, and single notes played on the instrument sound similar to those of a violin. These instruments can be decorative and I have added my own decoration to this lute backed instrument.
