The Siamese is one of the oldest and most recognizable breeds of cat in the history of the world. They're so well known, almost any seal-point patterned cat is often labeled as Siamese. True Siamese cats come from an ancient landrace of native cats called the Wichienmaat from the region of modern Thailand.

The American Shorthair (ASH) is the 8th most popular domestic breed in the world. They originated in Europe and came across to North America on ships to help hunt mice and rats. They are generally laid-back and low maintenance cats and great house pets.

Devon Rexes are very intelligent and trainable, although they're also smart enough to ignore your commands if they choose to. The Balinese is more than a long-haired Siamese cat... although not much more when it comes to appearance. They have the same wedge-shaped head, sleek muscular body, and stunning blue eyes. Cat breed historians aren't sure when the two breeds diverted, or what breed was bred with the Siamese to give the Balinese it's luscious hair, but nothing about all of that stops this from being an old, beautiful, noble breed!

There is no official record of the Birman cat's origins. The name comes from the French word for Burma where these cats are said to be companions of the temple priests on the Mount of Lugh. Legend has it that they came to France through theft and smuggling, although other legends claim they were given as gifts in thanks for defending the mountain temple against invaders. Nowadays they are known as the national cat of Burma and famous for their deep blue eyes.

Ragdolls were originally bred by Ann Baker in the 1960s. They have a not-too-long coat that is fluffy and thick with a distinctive upside-down "v" on their foreheads and distinctive blue eyes. They're called the "dogs of cats" because of their friendly and playful temperament.

The snowshoe siamese tailed jay catterfly/cat butterfly has jet black wings covered in bright lime green markings. Its body shares the beautiful dark markings of a seal point siamese. This breed is sociable, affectionate, playful, and intelligent.
