Description: A barangay tanod means a brigade or body composed of civilian volunteers, duly created at the barangay level, to assist the barangay officials in the effective exercises of law enforcement for the maintenance of peace and order and the promotion of public safety. This design is similar to what they wear as caps and shirts when on duty. This design was intro’d to the Pinoy popculture by Filipino vlogger Ninong Ry when he started wearing a cap with it in his videos.

The script was used not only to record but also to write poetry, incantations, and letters. This shirt says “pogi’” the Filipino word for a handsome person.
