The movie was chock-full of futuristic military vehicles, weaponry, and enough stunts and explosions to keep any 12-year-old engaged, but sadly, that was about the extent of its reach. Intended to be a huge summer blockbuster, the film was poorly received by critics, bombed at the box office and was nominated for three Raspberries, including Worst Picture.
