Each of the stories within the franchise centers on the antics of a fictional elementary school teacher, Ms. Frizzle, and her class, who board a "magic school bus", which takes them on field trips to unusual times and locations, such as the Cretaceous Period, outer space, and the interior of the human body.
Description: Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children's programming block on the U.S. television network ABC. The themes covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The series' original run lasted from 1973 to 1984; it was later revived with both old and new episodes airing from 1993 to 1996.
Description: USA Up All Night was a hosted cable movie show that ran on Friday and Saturday nights from 1989 to 1998. Programming tweaks were made here and there over the years, but for the most part, the show consisted of three movies that would air from 11 pm to 5 am. The show had three hosts during its nearly decade-long run; Gilbert Gottfried hosted Saturday nights, and when the show began Caroline Schlitt hosted Friday nights, but in 1991, Rhonda Shear took over as the host of the Friday night edition. The hosted version of USA Up All Night was brought to an end in 1998 as a result of new management wanting more upscale viewership. The network fired the hosts and started airing mainstream movies throughout the night, instead of B-movies.
