The Minnesota Muskies were a member of the American Basketball Association, born with the league's creation on February 2, 1967. The team played one season in Minnesota before moving to Miami, Florida to become The Floridians. The team colors were blue and gold and games were played in the Met Center in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The Baltimore Claws was an American basketball team which was supposed to appear in the 1975–76 season in the American Basketball Association. The team collapsed before the season started, playing only three exhibition games, all losses, in its brief history. The team that eventually became the Baltimore Claws had earlier competed in the ABA as the New Orleans Buccaneers from 1967 through 1970, as the Memphis Pros from 1970 through 1972, as the Memphis Tams from 1972 through 1974 and as the Memphis Sounds during the 1974–75 season. This is what the team would have looked like if they stayed in NOLA.

The Anaheim Amigos were a charter member American Basketball Association (ABA) team based in Southern California. After their first season in Anaheim, the team moved to Los Angeles to become the Los Angeles Stars. In 1970, it moved to Salt Lake City and became the Utah Stars. The Amigos were the first professional team in any sport to bill themselves as representing the city of Anaheim, California.

Also known as the African Knifefish and is a member of the Gymnarchidae family. It is native to the Nile River Basin also the Senegal, Gambia, Volta, Niger and Chad River Basins in West Africa. It is nocturnal and has a poor vision, it navigates and hunts smaller fish using a weak electric field. It can swim equally well both backwards and forwards. It can reach a maximum length of 167cm (5 and a half feet) with a maximum published weight of 18.5kg (about 41 pounds).

Chuck Robinson started Robinson Racing in the mid-'70s. He had worked for DG, Webco, and LRV, among others and decided to start his own line of BMX bikes after working to build the brands he worked for. Chuck always had his bikes fabricated by third-party sources and was underfunded, so he was never able to run consistent advertisements in the magazines. He did what he could with the budget he had and was a big promoter of BMX racing and is credited for his role in taking the sport to new levels. In the early days, he made smaller frames for the younger kids and then went into the production of larger bikes.

The name is derived from the historic Kentucky colonels, a honorary title given by the state to people with noteworthy accomplishments.
