These two wild dogs are part of a larger pack. We probably spent half an hour or more observing them as they mainly settled down to rest and walked around a bit. They're fascinating creatures, often mistaken for hyenas. They look a bit like German Shepherds with satellite dishes for ears, don't they?

In Africa, the Big Five game animals are the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and African buffalo. They are examples of charismatic megafauna, featuring prominently in popular culture, and are among the most famous of Africa's large animals.
