Tucked away in the Borrowdale Valley lies an old picturesque watermill. It was at one point considered a bit of a Lake District secret; hidden away from the nearby crowds in Keswick. At the time I took the photo, the river was a raging torrent, which meant I could not get as close as originally hoped!

District 9 Machine-wash edition creates that well worn look. Made from a technique that I developed myself by 'sandwiching' and cutting textures together.

Blencathra mountain, also known as Saddleback towers above the surrounding countryside. The view here was taken between Threlkeld and Thirlmere Lake. The top of Blecathra towers to nearly 2,900ft above the surrounding Lake District countryside and is a popular walk.

Architectural detail on an older brick building in the Clearing Industrial District on Chicago's West Side. I especially like the steam engines on either side of the Municipal Device. Clearing is near Midway Airport.

In the early 1970s, many FM stations around the country were experimenting with free form music hosted by young disc jockeys, and New York's Capital District Region Q104 FM was one of them. In 1975, Q104 FM had gleaned their niche from the free form programming and began to air album-oriented prog rock. Two years later, Q104 FM debuted the fresh Q104 branding for the station, touting their 'live album rock' format, which continued well into the later years as the station began adding more traditional rock music into the mix.

One of my favourite places in the world to visit has to be the Lake District in England. I love the many scenic landscape views the lake district has to offer and it is a place of pure natural beauty. This design incorporates Stickle Tarn into it and is entitled 'Love view'.

Buttermere in the Lake District
